Scott Plate
Scott Plate is a life coach, death doula, educator, and writer whose work centers on the thresholds that ask us to reconsider who we are and how we want to live. As co-founder of Native Heartseed, Scott works especially well with people navigating reinvention, aging, changing relationships and identities, questions of meaning and purpose, and end-of-life preparation. Rather than approaching these passages as problems to solve, he helps clients listen beneath inherited stories, familiar roles, and protective patterns to rediscover what they already know, and discern what fits now. An ICF-certified coach and Certified Imago Professional Facilitator, with training in Internal Family Systems and decades of experience as an expressive therapist, educator, actor, and director, Scott brings deep listening, creativity, relational intelligence, and practical guidance to his work. At the heart of his practice is a simple conviction: meaningful change doesn't always require becoming someone new. Sometimes it begins by remembering what has always been true. Scott helps clients cultivate the clarity and self-trust to make consequential choices, inhabit their lives more fully, and approach even life's final threshold with greater intention, curiosity, and peace.
