Volusia County Introductory Interdisciplinary Collaborative Practice Training

June 15 and 16, 2018

This 2-day training is provided in conjunction with a new pro bono Volusia/Flagler County Collaborative program created by Cobb Cole, Attorneys at Law and Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida. Volusia/Flagler County professionals who commit to providing one pro bono case can attend at a significantly reduced fee ($250).

The engaging and interactive training will teach you what the Collaborative Law process has to offer clients and the professionals who assist them. This practice-oriented approach to training will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to provide Collaborative services within your local practice group. This training includes a special section on increasing access to Collaborative process for diverse clients.

This course is intended for lawyers, mental health professionals, financial professionals, mediators, and other professionals who would like to work with clients in the Collaborative process. Continuing education credit is available for lawyers (16 hours inclusive of 2 ethics).  Continuing education for mental health professionals has been requested and is typically for 14 hours.  Mental health professionals who would like continuing education credits, if approved, must add $25 to their registration fee.
