Duval County Introductory Interdisciplinary Collaborative Practice Training

February 28 and 29, 2020

The training will be in Jacksonville, Florida at a location to be determined. Fees for the training will be determined soon as well.  Registration is not yet open.

The engaging and interactive training will teach you what the Collaborative Law process has to offer clients and the professionals who assist them. This practice-oriented approach to training will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to provide Collaborative services within your local practice group. This training includes a special section on increasing access to Collaborative process for diverse clients.

This course is intended for lawyers, mental health professionals, financial professionals, mediators, paralegals, and other professionals who would like to work with clients in the Collaborative process. Continuing education credit will be applied for.  Credit is usually available for lawyers through the Florida Bar (16 hours inclusive of 2 ethics).  Continuing education for mental health professionals is usually approved for 14 hours.  Mental health professionals who would like continuing education credits, if approved, must add $25 to their registration fee.  Program also previously approved for 14.0 CLE credit including 1.25 Ethics CLE credit by NALA for paralegals.
